WireGuard® is an extremely simple yet fast and modern VPN that utilizes state-of-the-art cryptography. It aims to be faster, simpler, leaner, and more useful than IPsec, while avoiding the massive headache.
Download and install wireguard client software from the download page: https://www.wireguard.com/install/
Once installed, open the WireGuard GUI and click on Add Tunnel -> Add empty tunnel...
- This automatically generates the public/private key pair. Take note of the public/private key pair or save the configuration file.
Open a support ticket at: https://cloudcare.freshdesk.com/ - requesting for the creation of vpn connection. Send us the Public key generated above.
Forthscale team will then add your public key to the vpn server and will get back to you with your vpn client configuration file.
Update and save your configuration file. Click the Activate button to establish the connection.
